  • Account Information: Email address, username, password (encrypted), and subscription plan information
  • Usage Information: Product names you search for, search timestamps, number of searches performed, and subscription usage metrics
  • Analysis Results: We store product names, source URLs, AI-generated summaries, metadata (source counts, sentiment scores), saved searches, and product comparisons

    We use cookies to collect non-personal information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and browsing patterns to improve our services.


    2. Information We Do Not Collect


    To minimize legal and privacy risks, we explicitly do NOT collect or store:


  • Full text of scraped reviews or raw review content
  • YouTube video transcripts or Reddit post content (beyond minimal snippets)
  • Usernames, profile pictures, or personal information from review sources
  • Images, videos, thumbnails, or multimedia content

    We use your information to:


  • Provide access to Review Flavor features and generate AI-powered review summaries
  • Track your subscription usage and limits
  • Send important service updates, subscription notifications, and respond to support requests
  • Send onboarding emails (welcome, day 3, and day 7 follow-ups)
  • Send promotional communications (with your consent)
  • Improve our AI analysis algorithms and service performance

    • 4. Data Processing


    When you search for a product, we search public sources (YouTube, Reddit) for relevant reviews, extract minimal metadata, immediately process this data through AI to generate summaries, and discard all raw scraped content immediately. We store only the AI-generated summary and source URLs.


    Scraped content exists in our systems only temporarily in memory and is never written to disk or databases.


    5. Data Sharing


    We Do Not Sell Your Data


    We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.


    Third-Party Services


    We may share data with:


  • OpenRouter: For AI-powered summary generation
  • Supabase: For database and authentication services
  • Resend: For sending transactional and onboarding emails
  • Stripe: For payment processing (payment data is handled by Stripe, not stored by us)
  • Analytics providers: For aggregated usage statistics

    • These services are bound by their own privacy policies and data protection agreements.


    Amazon Associates Program


    Review Flavor participates in the Amazon Associates Program. When you click on Amazon affiliate links on our site, Amazon may place cookies on your device to track your activity. Amazon's use of cookies and data collection is governed by Amazon's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to or control over Amazon's cookies or data collection practices.


    Legal Obligations


    We may disclose information if required by legal process, court order, law enforcement requests, or to protect our rights or others' safety.

    We use cookies for authentication, session management, preference storage, and anonymized analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser, but this may affect Service functionality.


    9. Third-Party Links


    Our Service contains links to external sources (YouTube, Reddit, etc.). We are not responsible for privacy practices of third-party sites or their data collection practices.


    10. Children's Privacy


    Review Flavor is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.


    11. International Users


    Your data may be processed in countries outside your own. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.
